Can I continue to use my 604 area code number if I move to a 250 area?

Hello Missawebber,
Welcome to the community!
Is the 205 area code long-distance from 604? If it is, another consideration to keep in mind are the people calling your phone. While it's true that if your plan has Province- or Canada-wide calling, any received calls outside of 604 (while you're in BC at least) would be included -- even though they might be considered long-distance.
However, if you keep your number, everyone in 604 may have to call a long-distance number to reach you. Given that many people now have Canada-wide calling, it may not be as much of an issue. However, there are still some instances where you might need a local number. For instance, my building's buzzer system cannot dial a LD number. In addition, some businesses also will not dial a LD number.
Hope this helps

Hey @Missawebber,
Yes of course! You don't have to change your phone number when moving. Though, make sure that you have Canada-Wide calling plan to avoid long distance charges :).
