  It is always good to be a little suspicious when receiving such text messages. However, I believe that particular message might be legitimate. It appears to come from Fido's Promotion short code (see here). They also use the custom Bitly domain Fido.ly.

 

  You should note that the forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. If you would like further verification, you might consider contacting customer service. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above.
