Any phone purchased from Fido can be unlocked for a $50 fee (plus applicable taxes).
In order to request unlocking of your phone, the device must meet one of the following criteria:
- If you purchased your phone on a contract from Fido, it must be registered to the account for a minimum 90 days prior to the unlocking request
- If you purchased your phone at full price from Fido, it is eligible for immediate unlock and it must be registered to the account
- If you purchased your Fido phone from a third party, it must be registered to the account for a minimum 90 days prior to the unlocking request
