I'm coming close to the end of 2 years since I got a new phone from Fido.
But I'm looking to pay off the remaining device balance.
I know how to pay my monthly bill online - which is the only payment option I see right now.
How do I pay the device balance specifically?
- Do I add the device balance amount to the monthly bill - would that work?
- Or can I only pay the device balance once I either change plans through Fido or transfer to a new provider and my current account gets cancelled?

You will need to contact customer support to pay off the device balance.
If you finance a new phone you will be charged the device balance when you process the transaction online for the new device. Please note, depending on the plan you have you might have to switch to a new plan that would allow you to finance a new device.
If you port out/cancel the account your will be charged for the days you had the service active and the device balance on your final invoice.
