I am travelling for the summer and wanted to freeze my account until the end of August. I have had my account for more than 1 month. I believe the cost is $7 per month but I am not sure how to start this process. I am having trouble calling the support line probably because I am abroad.

Welcome to the Fido community!


Along with being active with Fido for more than a month, there are a few things to be noted:

  1. You must not be in a contract.
  2. You will have to pay for it up-front unless you have a pre-authorized payment setup.
  3. The suspension and the monthly suspension fees will take effect on the last day of your current billing cycle.
  4. If you are on the Fido Payment Program you will continue to pay your monthly funding amount during the suspension.
