I just got texted a message, that Fido has refunded me some money. It then went to the “deposit it into your account” thing. Is this for real, or a scam just to get my banking info?

I received a text from Fido. Informing that I got $63.53 refund in my account. I was wondering if the link send which requested my cc number is authorized by Fido or it is a Scam?
Thank you,
Zama

Hey @Zama! Thanks for contributing your first post.
I've moved your post here, as it involves the same thing.
That's certainly a scam! We'll never ask you for your credit card number via text message or any other message for that matter. You can forward that message to us via 7726 (SPAM) or simply delete it.

This is definitely a spam, we'd send you a check if we need to refund you. Transfer the message to 7726 (SPAM), this will allow us to audit and block it from the Fido Network. Press and hold the body of the message, then press the forward button and send to 7726.
Hope that helps!
