Fido not responding to cancellation

I am trying to cancel my Fido phone line as I have moved to India. The number is not a toll free number and the Instagram representative has ghosted me. They are still making me pay for my phone line while I am away. Can someone just respond to me??

Firstly, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we be able to cancel your services. I understand you are currently outside of Canada and the toll-free number would likely not work from abroad. Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to cancel services through social media. As far as I am aware, cancellations can only be done by calling them:
You may cancel any or all of your Services and any corresponding Agreement at any time by calling us...

That said, if you would like to go over your options, you would need to contact customer service. Since you are outside of Canada, they do provide a number to call from abroad. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above. Though, you may likely still need to call them to cancel your services.
