I have been a fido customer since 2012. Since the last weeks of April I have been experiencing a lot of problems with call dropping. All of my network issues are within Toronto city limits. It occured in North York some time in end of April and has been consistenting occuring in May and worse in June. Every day when travel from downtown to east end of scarborough I network is disappearing. I am super frustrated. When I go to FIDO store I am recommended to change the phone. Its easy to say that when one can afford it. And I am not sure its the phone.

  Welcome to the community!

 

  What phone are you using? Was it purchased from Fido or unlocked from somewhere else? If you're using an unlocked device, have you verified it is sufficiently compatible with the networks? You can verify the compatible bands/frequencies here. Coverage would also depend on corresponding bands/frequencies on your surrounding cellular towers. You can get an idea of your area towers here.
