I recently switched from my previous provider to fido on a bring your own phone plan, unfortunately for me my phone led screen broke and blacked out leaving it entirely unusable. I went to 3 different Fido locations to try and find a solution, hoping to upgrade my plan to finance a new phone or potentially have the screen repaired. I had not been given any solutions by anyone I spoke with. They were completely unhelpful and apathetic to my problem. Fido's 30 day waiting policy prevents me from any possible solution to my issue. No one at any of the stores or on the phone I spoke with was able to offer me any work around or potential solution to my problem. Im just out of luck with a broken phone. I cant believe that there is absolutely nothing anyone can do or offer me a solution out side of paying 300 dollars to fix the screen or just waiting 30 days with no phone. I dont understand how you can not care to try and find a solution to a new costumer, or even at least make it seem like you'd like to help. I very much regret switching to fido and will most likely abandon this service and go with a new provider. Im very disapointed.

Hi there @Shrew , are you able to borrow a phone to use with your Sim? If not, you could purchase a cheap device from London Drugs, best buy, or anywhere that sells cheap pay/go devices. Or check ebay, Craigslist or kijiji. Many options to get you covered. I hope you find something soon
