Ok i have multiple entries for contacts in my address book. How do i delete them? Without deleting the entire contact, losing texts, etc?
Also can i delete the entire contact completely from my contact list and re-enter it WITHOUT losing their texts?

Hey @MickManda
You should be able to remove and re-add a contact without losing any texts. The text messages and contacts are two different things.
Normally if you delete a contact, the texts sent by that person will then show the number instead of the name and that is all
Note that you can also merge duplicate contacts:
- Turn on the LG G4
- Go to the Contacts app
- Select on the three menu dots in the upper right area of the screen
- Tap on Link Contacts
After you have selected on Link Contacts, you'll see a list where you can sort by name, phone number or email address to find duplicate contacts. You can tap on the contacts to link them. After that has been selected for the ones you want to merge, press Done
Hope this helps
