Hello, 

I am abroad away from Canada and I would remain there for about 2 months. Before coming here I changed my sim to a prepaid sim card and I was told that my sim card would deactivate when I don't pay my monthly bill. Is this true? If so, how do I know it?

I simply want to confirm what you said here to make sure I understand what's going on.


Did you switch from monthly to prepaid for your Fido service?

 

Or you simply removed the sim card and now, you have a new sim card from another provider in your phone?
