Hi,
I was outside Canada and got a couple of calls, but never picked up or even declined, I just left them unreachable to go to the voicemail. But then I found that I was charged $40 for these unreachable calls!!.
How do they charge for checking the voicemail?? And if there are any charges for just listening to your voicemail, does it make sense to cost per minute as a normal call $4/minute???
Please advise. Thanks

Hey @HB88,
Welcome to the Community.
Listening to your Voicemail involves calling in to the Voicemail retrieval system which counts as airtime usage. These calls are charged as a regular roaming call, the rates will vary depending on the destination and if you're subscribed to the postpaid FidoROAM service or being billed pay-per-use. You can check out more details on this here.
I hope this helps clarify things a little.
