Changing Fido number to an existing Wind number.

Hi, this sounds like an odd request.

 

My mother has a Fido line that she won't be using anymore. My Wife has a Wind number and she'd like to keep on using this number with Fido.

 

What I would like to do is to transfer my mother's line to my wife, while still keeping her original number from Wind. How can I get this done?

Just making sure I understood correctly; you'd like to transfer your wife's Wind number to Fido and replace your mother's number with your wife's so she can use your mother's line/plan? If that's the case, you'll just need to ask for a port-in. It's very simple to do.

Awesome! So should I just call Fido and ask them to do a port-in? and to be more specific, who would have to call?

Any channel will be able to do it with you, over the chat and even on Facebook and twitter. We're everywhere Wink

P.S. Only the accound holder can process the port-in,  and we need the account number of wind as well.
