Change numbers wthout cancelling

Hi,

Is it possible to replace my actual number with a new one (for my actual phone, with contract) but to be able to use the previous number on a prepaid plan? Is it something I can do or am I gonna lose this number?

Hey everyone!

Although this thread is quite old, I'd like to add a little clarification for future users since I came across it. The question here is if we can do phone number swap. The answer is no, our system is simply not letting us do so. It's possible to move a number to another account, but not possible to swap numbers.

You call and ask for a number swap. But it's not allowed with Fido.
