Can't send text

I can't  send text messages but  I can receive text messages in Toronto. I have changed sim slots rebooted

Sorry to learn you're having some trouble with your text messages. Are you getting an error message? 

If you try to send yourself a text message does it go through?

The issue was resolved by support. Had to call #*#4636#*#* then enter +15149931123 in the smsc category. Somehow the entry there was corrupt
