I am tired of contacting Fido each month regarding my minutes which I don’t use and I keep getting text messages saying that now I will be charged same with my wife too. Only my son does not get this kind of messages

We send you text messages when you reach 90% and 100% of your limit. You can also track your unbilled usage here.
Let me know if the unbilled usage doesn't make sense.
