When I try to register myself as an account holder, an error pops up and tells me that my Fido account number is registered to an email I have no knowledge of, despite only having a subscriber account and being the sole user. Is there anyway I can unlink that email from my fido number? I have no clue how it ended up like this.

It's possible that you selected subscriber rather than account holder when you registered for My Account. You would need to contact customer service to change your account status and remove the email currently associated with your account. Alternatively, you might consider sending @FidoSolutions a PM. Once they verify some information, they'll also be able to access your account.
