Can't receive 2FA pins through SMS

I am having this same issue as the others that's on this forum. I read through some of the similar issues here and gave it a week and still can't receive 2FA pin from a few banks etc. I tried to call the hotline several times and only to listen to that now annoying music for an hour or so and still not get through. The live chat is broken as soon as it tries to transfer you to a live agent the chat box greys out and I can't reply anymore. Now the live agent thinks I am AFK and ends the chat. I just want this issue resolved as I can't login to some of my bank apps.

Just to add. I just switched to Fido last monday. So exactly a week from then.
