The short answer would be no, to use your Fido services requires a Fido SIM card.

Each service provider's SIM card is what enables you to connect to their network and their services.So when you're using a non Fido SIM instead, you'll be using the other service provider's services instead.

To better assist you though, can you please answer a few questions: 

1. Do you currently have a Fido account?
2. Is it a new activation?
3. Were you provided with a Fido SIM?
