I have been a loyal customer with Fido for almost 8 years and guess what!! 
when I got late to pay for few days, they charged me 235$ and they won't wave it.

I am really disappointed and thinking of changing the company after 8 yrs.

  Welcome to the community!

 

  Sorry to hear you've incurred a late payment charge. I understand you feel your tenure with Fido warrants leniency in this regard. Unfortunately, the late payment charge is applied to all customers (regardless of how long they have been a customer) if payment is received after the payment due date (see Terms of Service; section 3c). Loyal customers should not expect special treatment.

 

  I also understand you are disappointed and are considering switching providers because of this instance. You should note the other providers would also follow their own rules about late payment charges without preferential treatment towards longer-standing customers.
