type of modem given out to new customers

Just wondeing which modem is presently being given out to new Fido Internet customers? 

Am I able to request a specific model? 

Also during the pandemic what is the method to have it installed? A technican drops off the equipment or does fido ship the modem to me?

We currently uniquely offer the Hitron CGN3U modem for our home internet customers. We don't offer any other ones right now. These days, we ship to modem to you directly and most addresses do not require a technician. The modem is pretty much plug and play with a quick setup.
