Adjustment on my bill

Hi ... Signed up for the Internet on about 22 April. Got a bill for one month of service on 20 May. SINCE we did not actually get the modem delivered by Purolator until 30 April, we were told we could ask for an adjustment on the bill. Where to go for that, please?
