My internet drops intermittently for the past 3 days

My area code is L2G, my home internet service drops intermittently, very frequently and lengthy, throughout the days since July 9.  Is it my modem or the whole area has problem?

I have had the same problem, usually for no more than a minute, over the past month or so. I am in M1R (Scarborough).
