Internet acting weird

I activated the home internet today. Wifi works and connects to internet, but in a weird way.  I can only get to google, youtube, facebook and a few websites.  But I can't load all other sites, even the fido.ca  I have to reconnect my old modem to my existing internet provider (which expired tomorrow) to get help n post this message here.

What's wrong with the fido internet? I've been holding on the line for half an hour try to get this problem solved.
