I've cancelled my Fido Home Internet on May-2-2024 over the phone. Called to confirm on May-19-2024, June-07-2024 and its still active, plus Fido has sent me a recent internet bill (which I havened used the services for). Its funny how to activate services it's so quick but when it comes to cancellation its super slow, is this normal?

Exact same thing happened to me. They said they couldn't help me with anything on my account because it's "greyed" out, yet still active. So they've flagged it to ensure it gets cancelled at some point...???? Anyways. I've received two bills since then -- make sure you remove *any* payment information associated with your Fido account!

Absolutely removed payment and after the fourth call in two montns they finally cancelled my account. It shouldnt take four calls to cancel an account.
