I have a weird problem. Yesterday got a new iPhone 6s for my wife under contract. I got mine as well last weekend.
In my iPhone Wi-Fi-calling works no issues! In my wife’s new iPhone when I am trying to activate Wi-Fi-calling it just says ‘To allow Wi-Fi Calling on this account, contact fido’.
For troubleshooting- I did as follows: reset network settings, erase iPhone setup as a new iPhone, enabled airplane mode before activating Wi-Fi Calling, disabled LTE before enabling- nothing works.
Very strange though- I just tried my wife’s sim card in her new phone and boom it worked! But, this doesn’t help as we are thinking to swap the phones as we like each other’s colour 😊
I have tried other way around as well like my iPhone and my wife’s sim card works like a charm so this explains me my sim card should also work in her new iPhone.
Any suggestions before I proceed to Fido store for return ?
