facebook application screwed up my blackberry contact list

All of a sudden I am seeing Content Protection Enabled on some or most of the contcats in my address book.  Mostly in the email filed, or PIN field.  I can no longer see what was there, and if I try to send an email to that person, it fails immediately. What happened ?

did the facebook app come preinstalled with your device....if not then use the BB desktop manager to uninstall it and see if that fixes the issue....

facebook generally is not installed on any device, a virtual link to download it from the appstore is on every BB, but its up to the user who has it installed to set and configure the permisisons of linking your facebook contact list with your blackberry address book. there is a setting in the application to control this, try and going in and seeing what you have enabled? sometimes facebook likes to reset your settings, so go back and change them, its normal, they do this a lot.

Have you tried to remove the battery from your device and place the battery back in the phone ?
