I am travelling to eastern bc in would like to add extra data to my 2gb data plan for this time period while I am travelling.
How to I apply for this if possible?

Are you referring to a data-only plan? If so, while it's not possible to add more data to it, you'll simply be billed an overage charge should you go over your limit.
