Hello,

I would like to understand some aspects when using eSim:

1. When esim is activated in my iPhone , can I use my iphone as a phone with dual sim ?

I use Canadian eSIM and and put other Sim (an other company or country) in a physical location ?

2. Can I temporarily deactivate my Canadian eSIM when I am not in Canada ?

Thanh you

Hello Hnguyen2246,

  Welcome to the community!

As far as I am aware, you can use your phone as a dual-SIM device if you are using both the physical SIM and eSIMs. Yes, you can use the eSIM for a Canadian provider and use the physical SIM for another provider. In fact, you can have multiple eSIMs on your device. However, only one eSIM can be active at a time. In addition, you can also temporarily deactivate a eSIM when not in use. You can find more information regarding eSIM and dual-SIM functionality with iPhone here.

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers
