LG as yet to confirm that the Oreo upgrade will include treble structure.
Treble is the new android layering structure featuring OEM flagships in a lower layer starting with Android Oreo 8.0 it will enable receiving Android updates directly from OS chip mode even after manufacturer upgrade warranty ends.
All new products coming out with Android Oreo 8.0 will need to obtain that certification but the products that came out already with 7.0 are not oblige to do this.
AlthoughLG G6 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 which was the same chip as the original pixel the Oreo update and that Google had said it was working with some manufacturer to enable help Treble it is not said who of them.
It is probably sure from what I read that LG V30 will get a tremble or a resemblance structure upgrade from LG anyway it is uncertain future for the same feature to be on LG G6.
will LG G6 be trebling? We will see in February guys.

It might be smarter to expect this sort of architecture for the LG G7 than the G6.

Hi @EFTC yes thanks
& another one bits the dust
From android development say:
True treble architecture will be avail only on device "coming out/ launching on Oreo 8.0"
..Except Pixel of course.
Oreo is a positive charger at consumer's end.
Cheers
