Vivaz Pro where is the Network Mode?

cannot believe FIDO disable this...my vivaz in brand new and is on 3G network only

does not have the option of Network Mode. My battery only last for less than a day.

Menu>Settings>Network->Network Mode

the one in bold, i do not have it on my phone so I cannot switch between GSM or 3G

i only have Provider Selection (Manual, Automatic) and Cell Info Display

just thinking in returning this phone

Choose Provider selection, then choose Manual. The phone will search for networks and in my area (Toronto) it shows a 3G fido network and another fido network without the 3G label. That's the GSM network. Select it and you should be 3G free. The 3G network has better coverage so it might not be available in all areas. But the biggest battery drain is the Wifi scanning. Turn it off when not in use and you should see your battery last much longer.
