Stolen phone in South America

I am currently travelling in South America and have had my iPhone 6 stolen from me in Peru.

I am planning to return to Canada in June, I am wondering if I will be able to get a replacement phone as I only purchased the phone at the end of February.

I still have the SIM card for it, I don’t know if that means anything.

Please help because it would be nice to not have to pay for a brand new phone once I get back to Canada Sad

Hey there @Dayn7!

Welcome to the community. Smiley

I'm sorry to hear about your phone! If you have the Fido device protection added on to your plan, you will be able to get a replacement through Brightstar for a deductible. If you do not have a protection plan, you will need to buyout your current agreement and upgrade through Fido indeed.

Hope this helps!
