My buddy's phone got stolen and he has some very important pictures of his friends on there. It's a Samsung A5 I believe so is there anyway he can recover his pictures ? He is older so he doesn't have email unfortunately

Sorry to hear your friend's phone was stolen. Unfortunately, unless they regularly backed up their photos to a cloud service, I don't think it would be possible to recover those pictures without retrieving the phone. Without a cloud backup, the photos would only be stored in the phone's memory. There would be no way to retrieve them remotely from the device.
Have they had a chance to report the device as stolen to Fido? Doing so would prevent any unauthorise usage on their line. They might also consider reporting the theft to their local law enforcement.
