December
Hi,
I have switched to Virgin on 25th Nov, 2023 for the black Friday deal. But I still received a bill as usual for December after that (Service period in the bill : From Nov 22 to Dec 21, 2023.) May I know why?
And would you please kindly revise the payment prorataly and send me once again to pay? I believe the last bill should be only counting from Nov 22, 2023 to Nov 25, 2023.

Hello @cwadeyin,
When it comes to cell service we are always billed in advance that's why you receive an invoice for the full amount that you should pay. What will happen is you will receive a final invoice which will be pro-rated charges because we are charged in advance it means a credit will be on the last invoice and that amount will be refunded by cheque after the final invoice has been produced and it can take up to 6 weeks before you receive it that the default procedure, you can, however, have the credit refunded back to a card if that is how you hade made the payment but you would need to contact customer service and request it before the cheque has been issued.

Hi Kap,
Thank you. So basically, I just have to pay full now and I will get a return rather on cheque/return to credit card (depends on what I choose).

I have exactly the same question, I was told that they will refund me on a pro rata basis, but how do I know that fido will really refund me? I also heard that you need to contact fido in advance if you don't want a refund in the form of a cheque, but how? Every time I called, customer service asked me to enter my fido phone number, but I was no longer a fido user, and it just said the num couldn't be found
