You do not have to open the phone in order to insert a SIM card. Most newer phones would have a SIM card tray which is accessed using a SIM ejector pin (see here). In many cases, you would access the SD card tray the same way. I believe the SIM card/Memory card tray is on the left side of the A70 (see manual here).
