I got the z flip 6 back on December 22nd 2024 it was delivered to me via Purolator. And almost 2 months later, it's not going well for me. I couldn't connect to a sim on it, just my old phone can, brand new sim too. Tried to call/chat in before January 20th. But no one did anything. They 'reset' my service and like hung up on call /disconnected me from the chat. I am not happy. What do I do? I do not wish to like continue paying for a device that I can't make phone calls and or texts on. Please help me here. I tried samsung and they said "go to your phone provider as it's their phone that you have under contract with." And like won't do anything for me. I resetted the phone like 20 times by now! Help!

Hello Yelah,

Sorry to hear you are not happy with your new device. You seem to have had some bad luck with devices. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what concessions can be made at this stage. As FidoValerie previously mentioned in her reply to one of your other posts, Fido has their Satisfaction guarantee. However, your Galaxy Z Flip6 has exceeded the 30 day eligibility for that guarantee (see here).

That said, what do you mean by:

As far as I am aware, the Galaxy Z Flip6 uses a nano SIM card. I believe that same sized SIM card is also used in the Galaxy S24FE, iPhone 15, as well as Galaxy Z Flip 3. If your SIM card works in your old phones but does not work in the Flip6, there could be an issue with the SIM card reader on that device. If that is the case, that issue should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. I understand you have already contacted Samsung, however, you might consider initiating a warranty repair through Fido.

As mentioned in a previous post, you should note that these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we be in any position provide special considerations regarding their guarantee. You would need to contact customer service for assistance with your matter. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above.

Hope this helps 😀
