Hi @mileg , if you have a post paid plan, you're already enrolled in the roam like home program, unless you canceled that with customer service.

Hello Mileg,

  Welcome to the community!

Firstly, you should note the forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we enable roaming on your line.

That said, what plan-type do you have? You should note that the Fido Roam is already enabled on most current plans (except Basic Plans). If you have a roaming compatible plan, you should be able to start using services. The Fido Roam charges will incur if your phone uses services -- make or receive a call, send a text message or use data abroad. If you did not wish to use Fido Roam, you would need to opt-out of the feature. In doing so, any usage would be on a pay-per-use basis. You can view those rates in the link provided above.

If you are unable to use data, you would need to ensure roaming data is enabled in order to use cellular data abroad.

Have you verified your device is compatible with the local networks? Have you verified your location has adequate local cellular coverage?

If you have a compatible device and are still unable to use services abroad, it's possible there might be a roaming block on your line. If you wished to remove any possible roaming blocks or opt-out of Fido Roam, you would need to contact customer service. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above. As you note, though, customer sevice is not available on Sunday. You will unfortunately need to wait until their service hours are available for assistance.

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers
