Can't figure out how to change my settings on my Samsung Galaxy Q so that my phone keeps alerting me that I have received a new message. it rings once advising a new text has come in but in the event I never heard it the first time it doesn't keep alerting me. Any suggestions?

I have the same question. I don't see a setting for this so I've had to visually check my messages each time I step away from the phone or find myself in a noisy area.

From your handset, access Android Market, search for and download noLED

noLED is a free app that provides audio, vibrate, and also a visual reminder for missed alerts.

it works great on Samsung Galaxy Q (especially the visual reminder - since the Galaxy Q doesn't have a native notifcation light).

Hi everyone,

Have you checked the user guide? You can find it onling by clicking here and selecting your model phone. Certain phones have this option while others do not. My phone will only notify me once when a message is received, and there is no option to modify this.

Hope this helps!
