I've had my Android 2.2 phone for a couple of years. I'm thinking of upgrading to a newer phone with Android 4 (either 4.0 or 4.2). What features do these newer Android versions have that 2.2 doesn't have?

Where is the document viewer & editor application on Android phones? Does this need to be downloaded first or does it come with Android software? The application I'm thinking of covers Word, Excel, Powerpoint and pdf files.

I have the same question. I don't see a setting for this so I've had to visually check my messages each time I step away from the phone or find myself in a noisy area.
I have the Samsung Galaxy Q and Android 2.2 but it didn't come preloaded with Acrobat Reader or a document viewer/editor app. Are you able to save your pdf and doc files to your sd card and transfer back and forth to your computer? If so, I will down...
