Hello, I ordered S20 FE Certified pre owned on 10th October, 2022 but, still no email / ETA. I talked with multiple reps / Ask Jack and got the same response, that we have received your order which is out of stock & back order is in process. I just want to know an ETA otherwise it doesn't make sense to wait forever. I hope someone will take action on my query asap. Thanks.

  I understand it might be frustrating not receiving a purchased device in short order. As you are aware, that device is backordered. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if those orders will ever be fulfilled. The phone you ordered was a Certified Pre-owned device. Sourcing used devices they can restore and certify isn't the same as waiting for another shipment of new devices from the manufacturer. There is no timeline for when specific devices become available. Any sales would have been for existing stock of that device. If there does not appear to be any remaining devices, I'm doubtful they will be able to obtain more of those devices with any regularity.


  I understand you reached out to multiple sources for some sort of timeline. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone will be able to offer any timeline given the reduced availability of that device. If they can source those devices, they will be able to fulfill those orders. However, since it is Certified Pre-owned, availability is dependent on when customers return devices or upgrade to newer devices etc. Unfortunately, I think the likelihood of them being able to source them is rather slim.

I can understand wanting to get your new device but no one here will be able to tell you when you will get it as this community is meant for customers to help each other it is not customer service.


While it would be in Fido's best interest to get you the device as soon as possible these backorders can take longer than expected due to many factors. If you are unable to wait any longer you can always try to get a device that is in stock.
