Ordered a Pixel 9 Pro XL 256GB on Dec 2nd. Said 2-4 weeks when I ordered it.
I'll start by saying I gave them the 2 of the 2-4 weeks before contacting anyone at all, and the only reason I contacted them was because the automated system stopped being able to tell me anything about my order, or that it existed at all. Eseentially I just wanted to confirm the order still existed because now I had no way of knowing what was going on. They confirmed for me the order does still exist, and that the device was in the warehouse and would ship out soon.
Given the holiday season I gave them another week before checking in, and was assured again that the device is in the warehouse and will ship soon.
So skip forward another week and here we are, 1 full month later, and now Fido support rep tells me the device will not be restocked, and that I should switch to another device, well I already bought a case and screen protector seeing as I was told it was in the warehouse and ready to ship twice...
I just dont understand how we go from "in the warehouse ready to ship" to "Will not be restocked"... just insane.
I am looking into other providers now as this is not a satisfactory experience at all. If they had not of told me it was going to ship this would all be a very different story, but 2 separate reps told me that.

This is a less than useless response Falza. Reaching out to support is what I did and nobody helped me. Are these phones ever coming in?

Really sorry to see you still haven't received your phone after so long. We do still have stock for the Pixel 9 Pro XL 256GB, but only in Pink. For other colours, you'll need to wait until we receive more from the manufacturer.
I know you already contacted our customer service, but this platform isn't meant to be used as a support channel, we cannot access your account here. If you still haven't received your phone, make sure to get in touch with our customer service again, they're the ones who will be able to check your order.

Hello, I have had this same exact model backordered since the black friday deals as well. I called on december 31st to make sure I didnt miss the boxing day sales if I needed to order another model. The fido representative I talked to assured me that my order was still valid and I would eventually recieve my device. After seeing this post I got a little worried that the pixel 9 pro xl 256gb would never be restocked by fido. The fido representative I talked to on my call today (jan 8.) had no indication that the device would be no longer be restocked. And they also said I would eventually recieve my device but could not provide any timeline.
Calling into the support line has has not yielded concrete answers and the respresentatives in store were unable to help, and suggested I call in again. If theres a representative here that can provide some clarity via community message or email, it would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks!
