Pixel 4a: dual sim/e-sim

I'm trying to figure this out but I want to add an e-sim card to my pixel 4a.

The device itself supports dual sim however from what I've been able to figure out,

Fido does not support dual sim on android devices,

Is this accurate?

Would this mean that I would have to switch my entire account to a provider that does support the dual sim functionality?

Or could I simply get an e-sim from another provider and keep my account with fido?

Hello @Amb21,

Fido does support eSIM, if you want you can use the Fido physical SIM and use the eSIM with another provider or vice versa, if you require an eSIM from Fido you will need to contact customer service or visit a Fido store.
