Hi

Switched to a BYOD plan from a different carrier on November 29th. Am I to receive the sim card in the mail or am I supposed to go to the store and get one? Haven't received anything yet and bring charged.

Thanks esim worked.  Do employees respond here? It would be nice to not get charged for the first days I got the plan considering the sim card was shipped but never arrived.

Hello Flashman238,

  Welcome to the community!

Glad to hear the eSIM suggestion worked for you!

While Fido does have moderators to monitor the forum, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts and would not be in any position to make any considerations on the matter. If you wished to discuss your situation, you would have to contact customer service. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above.

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers

Hi there @flashman237 , with the current mail strike continuing, may I suggest either getting an esim, if your device is capable, or going to a corporate store to get your Sim card. Contact https://www.fido.ca/support for your options.
