MobileMail not working with regular email

I have an LG Gossip, I setup a Gmail account in MobileMail and it is working well.

I tried to setup another email under "other" (which is my regular email account) and I get "Communication error, Please try again later"

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello lilimike,

The following e-mails are supported within MobileMail:

- Windows Live Mail (MSN)
- Yahoo! Mail
- Rogers Yahoo! Mail (rogers.com)
- Gmail
- POP3

If your regular e-mail is not in one of the above mentioned format, it will not be compatible.

If it is a POP3 e-mail, you will be required to enter the settings manually. To make sure that those settings are the right ones, I would refer you to your e-mail service provider.

The choices I have on my phone are:

Rogers Yahoo Mail

Yahoo Mail

Windows Live Mail

Gmail

Other Email

My regular email is a POP3 account so I figured I should select "Other Mail"

When I do I only have 2 fields to fill-out, Email and Password.

For my ISP my email and username is the same.

Still doesn't work.

You refer to "Settings manually", where would that be?

Hello again,

Normally, you should be prompted for your settings if the application is not able to find them by itself.
