LG V20 Hotspot not working Non-Fido phone

My APN settings are exactly as the ones on the Fido forum but the only feature not working is my tethering

Bought my phone from Newegg, it is a US AT&T phone, unlocked.

Anybody else have this problem or solved this problem on another device? I'd like some more information

  Welcome to the community!

  It's not uncommon that some US-based phones restrict access to certain services. Unfortunately, AT&T tends to be one of those providers. I assume your phone is the H910 version of the LG V20. If so, there might be a workaround to get the hotspot functional (see here). As they note in that thread, it is only a temporary solution and will need to be re-done if you restart the phone. If you are not familiar or comfortable with such procedures, you might consider doing more research on your own.
