Iphone 13 phone upgrade

I have put in a phone upgrade to an iPhone 13 pro max. Does this mean that I have pre-ordered the phone? I haven't received any confirmation of a preorder and when I click on upgrade phone it says that a phone upgrade has been requested and no phone can be requested until the upgrade is processed.

I am just trying to understand if I have preordered the phone and how it will be processed.

 I also pre-ordered the 13 pro max on September 19 and got the confirmation email 4 days later. I did receive my phone on launch day (friday).

Hello @Ziggy1 , yes you have pre-ordered your device. You will then get an email congratulating you on your new device. Then when it's ready to ship you will get a call from FedEx that they will be delivering your device and that someone has to be there to accept the delivery. How do I know that you ask? I just received my new android device and that's exactly what happened. Enjoy your new phone! Cheers, OL
