Huawei P20 SMR only to January

Hello,

According to OS upgrade schedule, Huawei P20 has SMR to March. I checked my Huawei P20 and SMR is only to January. Please some body confirm it.

The SMR (Security Maintenance/Security Update) for the P20 is supposed to be the March patch. 

Do you have any way of updating that? 

Keep in mind that the roll out is done in batches and might not have been received on your phone yet.

My P20 SMR has January patch. I got this Jan patch since P20 had update from Oreo 8 to Pie 9 last month. I have been checking my phone everyday for Mar patch. I do not know any other way to get update.

Hey @why1, the rollout is from March 19 to March 29, so you should receive the update by the 29.

The January update is the latest one for the Huawei P20 pro. The March update mentionned above, on this thread, is from 2019. You can check-out the OS update schedule here.

My P20 is Android P 9.0 but "Android security patch is January 1, 2019". Is this the newest patch or it has to be March patch?

Both models are on Android P 9.0 and both should receive the SMR in March.
