How to activate voicemail?

I just signed up with Fido, after a long process, I'm deliberating cancelling and going back to my previous provider. I cannot access my voicemail, the prompts instructions to enter my phone number reply with "Enter your ten digit phone number followed by the pound key. entered, and the same response repeats again. Frazzled

The issue still exists 2 years later. Very deceiving.

Having the same issue

I can’t access my voicemail. I enter my 10 digit phone number and I get the message that this number is not valid.

After much digging, I found the solution. If after following the instructions and it still says incorrect number after pressing the pound key, got too VIEW USAGE AND MANAGER > BROWSE ADD ONS > Add the "English Voicemail" addon for $0. Wait for a few hours and then try calling the voicemail number again. Now you can setup your voicemail and pin. It worked for me.

Same thing happened to me. I'll try to give them a call, if not I'll be going back to my previous provider. This voicemail is a basic service and shouldn't be a pain in the **bleep** to set up. What the h**l Fido????!!!

THE SAME FOR ME. Followed every set up suggestion offered online and called *611 from device multiple times without getting it fixed. **bleep**ty service!

Hi @Trassa , might I suggest that you contact Fido technical support by dialing *611 from your device and request assistance in getting your voice mail set up? Perhaps there's a setting that they can change or fix for you.
