How to Wifi calling!

Hi guys, I'm a new Fido customer. 

I live in a basement where the network signal is not available and I can't make and receive calls and even use my wireless internet. 

I have heard that wifi calling could be an option for me. I have a Samsung S8 where should have wifi calling option available but i couldn't find it and neither activate it. 

Could you please help me out?

is your phone a Fido "Branded" phone? in my experience, it needs to be fido branded for the proper certificates to be installed to work on the fido network.  if not, you may be out of luck.   Yes you can use unlocked phones on fido, but B) special features like wifi calling and volte require Fido branded handsets to work, not other carriers unlocked handsets unfortunately.  let us know

@Anonymous thank you man you are actually right, i visited Fido store and then told me the same thing but still it sucks, why they don't just open this service and allow their customers to benefit from it!!

Hi @FidoNick. Unfortunately this service won't work if you didn't buy your smartphone from Fido!!
