Galaxy nexus discontinued

So my pal went to get a gnex today from fido after seeing mine(nice!).  Was told they were discontinued....mine is less than 2 weeks old.

So does this mean no support?  No updates??  Very troublesome.

Just return it to stock to get update straight from Google. Mine has 4.2.1 update so no rush to get Nexus 4. will wait for the next Nexus phone

What do you expect - it was released over a year ago and it's successor the Nexus 4 was already released several months ago and will be available on Fido shortly.
